Rehabilitation of the Edentulous Mandible Using One Piece Zirconia Implants Immediately Loaded

A 37 year old patient presented with aggressive periodontitis resulting in almost total edentulism of the lower jaw (Fig. 1). Patient request was to have fixed restorations. Treatment plan consisted of extractions of the remaining teeth, grinding the teeth using an autogenous dentin graft to fill up the alveolar defects, insertion of OnePiece Zirconia implants (TAV Dental) utilizing immediate loading. Bone supported guide utilizing Simplant software had been fabricated to ensure implant positioning (Fig. 2, 3).

Surgical Procedure

Teeth were extracted and preparated for grinding (Fig. 4). The osteotomy were prepared utilizing osseodensification burs (Fig. 5, 6). Eight OnePiece Zirconia implants (TAV Dental | 10mm length, Ø4.1mm) were placed (Fig.7, 8). Impression was taked for fabrication of a CAD CAM PMMA temporary bridge for immediate loading (Fig.9, 10). Bridge construction and delivery to the patient within 24 hours (Fig. 11, 12).
